From Struggling Student to Top of the Class

Grace's story begins in 2023 when she was on the verge of dropping out of school. Her single mother could not afford school fees, and Grace had been sent home repeatedly. She spent her days helping her mother sell vegetables at the local market, watching other children go to school with heavy hearts. Everything changed when Bright Hope CBO enrolled Grace in the Education Support Program. We paid her school fees, provided uniforms, books, and all necessary supplies. But we didn't stop there. Grace struggled academically after missing so much school, so we enrolled her in our after-school tutoring program. With dedicated tutors and her own determination, Grace began to catch up. Within six months, her grades improved dramatically. She discovered a love for mathematics and science. Her confidence grew, and she started participating actively in class. Today, Grace is the top student in her class. She's particularly excelling in mathematics, scoring 95% in her recent exams. She dreams of becoming a doctor and helping other children in her community. "Bright Hope didn't just pay for my school," Grace says with a bright smile. "They gave me hope for my future. Now I know I can achieve anything I set my mind to." Grace's mother is equally grateful. "I used to cry seeing my daughter at home while others went to school.
